On Sunday, the 94th N Maple Basketball Academy announced the acquisition of Jarrick Bowe as the new Point Guard Coach. Bowe 27, emerged from a pool of nearly 17 applicants to become the newest member of the program. Jarrick has spent the last few years playing semi-pro basketball for the New York Court Kings before landing a pro gig in Montenegro."There is no doubt that we have hired an exceptional leader for our basketball program", Amaree stated. "When I first met "PG" back in 2010 at tryouts, he was a great decision maker on the court. His demeanor was very professional and I liked that about him". Jarrick recently returned home from Montenegro after his bid playing with the GUSINJE STRSLJEN Ball club. "The game has changed in many aspects..." said Bowe to the Maple Press Sunday afternoon. "...and it is up to us to guide the youth to greatness at 94th N Maple. It is an honor for me to become apart of this organization as the Point Guard Coach and I will do my best to make sure that these kids maximize their talents so they can be where they want to be". The academy continues it's recruitment process this Wednesday at 4:30.
